Europe-wide risk distribution
- The geographcal distribution
of the total risk according to the IAEA scenario reflects the density
of the European NPP in combination with the prevailing meteorological conditions.
The highest risk is found in the east of France, in
Germany and in the Benelux countries.
- For the RT scenario, the highest risk is located in Eastern Europe.
- Certain regions are favoured in both scenarios, e.g., Ireland,
Portugal, Spain, Southern Italy and the Po Basin, while others are always
exposed to high risk, e.g., Luxembourg, Belgium, and Germay.
